Godly individuals and groups who do occasionally resist the States' face of evil contend against an "immortal" foe that owns the law-making power. Unchurched/ secular people will rationalize their greater demand for immorality with new ideas of right and wrong. Giving up liberty in exchange, they will come to worship manmade authority, "equality", and the States' use of force. Unchurched/ secular people will move away from self-reliance, responsibility, obligation to elders and the disadvantaged of society. They will accept, even enjoy their new situation. The State, however, corrupts social morals and human beings.

State of Vermont Court Administrator, Robert Greemore, is quoted in Rutland Herald, May 2, 2003 as saying, "Those who don't pay fines risk having warrants issued for their arrests." This is clearly contrary to Vermont Constitution, subsection 40, which simply states: "No person shall be imprisoned for debt." Vermont Constitution Article 4 unequivocally states: "Every person... ought to obtain right and justice, freely, and without being obliged to purchase it...". "Communities across America are being pressured to remove any reference to God from their public squares.
