A grandiose type of delusion would involve the belief that one has the secret for world peace, if only he could get before the UN General Assembly and tell everyone.  Persecutory delusional disorder would characterize the individual who believes that "they" (whoever they are) are after him (often for the purpose of stealing or silencing his grandiose idea)."   

Sadly, and most dangerously, this kind of talk is an attempt to void the existence and authoritative voice of Christ Jesus! Satan's realm is either to deny the existence of God or pervert the true teachings of Jesus. Blasphemy

It is written: [Jesus:] Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy- that is, every evil, abusive, injurious speaking or indignity against sacred things- can be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the (Holy) Spirit shall not and cannot be forgiven.  And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world and age or in the world and age to come. -Matthew 12:31, 32 Amplified Bible

  Everyone can remember things that were said/spoken to us in times past... remember when your mom or dad said, "Do your homework.", "It's time for bed.", or "Don't do drugs"? ...  or, at your job you are able to recall and apply information you learned previously in college from a teacher?  The Holy Spirit of God (the Comforter) works similarly the same way: It is written: "Jesus replied, 'If any one loves me, he will obey my teaching.  My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching... But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you (emphasis added).'"  -John 14:23, 24, 26

     So, why do I include this category "voices" on this website?  To make you aware that there is constant competition in your conscious mind to hear voices that influence your every day living and action.  You may recall the cartoons, when a child, where some character has a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other both trying to persuade thought and action.  Well, in real life, the danger is that carnal men desire to subjugate/enslave you by your acting upon the teachings that they have put in your mind (in your head) that are contrary/opposite to the teachings of Christ Jesus.  i.e. through television programs and advertisements; through school education.  In a down to earth reality example, the Vermont Police Association produced a bumper sticker that says:

 VERMONT'S VOICE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT

 So when or if a Vermont licensed psychologist  ("shrink") asks a "mentally disturbed" person whether or not he/she hears voices (this is held against a person), the answer should be a resounding "yes".  What critically matters, though, is which one. De facto Vermont Government?

You want to believe the truth of Jesus, not the lies of men!!! Christ Jesus has superior thinking to men, and, therefore, His desire is for you to act upon the good loving thoughts that He puts in your mind.  This is why it is written:

"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (emphasis added)." -2 Corinthians 10:5

This is where so much clash and discord between the secular and (Christian) religion exits. Secularists choose not to discover and believe in God.  If No God?

If no God, where do your rights come from?  In his Inaugural Address, 1961, President John F. Kennedy stated:  "The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God."  If there is no God, your rights cannot come from anywhere else except the "generosity of the State."  The State, then, becomes the new god.  And what the State "giveth," the State can "taketh awayeth."
