A clarification of the word ecumenical so as to avoid error:  It is a coming together of Christian Unity worldwide. Ecumenism is NOT a merging of other religions thereby forming a sort of conglomerate church.  The Church/ Bride of Christ cannot be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14).

"Do not be unequally yoked up with unbelievers- do not make mismated alliances with them, or come under a different yolk with them [inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light fellowship with darkness?  What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial [the devil]? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement [can there be between] a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. From a May 2005 Jubilee Extra www.prisonfellowship.org     Mark Earley writes: "If children attend public school in the United States today, they are not being taught a Christian worldview. If children attend a Christian school, they possibly are being taught a Christian worldview, depending on the school. If children go to church and Sunday school regularly, they may be learning a Christian worldview, but two hours a week is a minimal deposit. Is it then any wonder that researcher George Barna reported in 2002 that 83% of teens in America believed moral truth depends on circumstances? Even among teens raised in the church, only 9% believe in moral absolutes.
     The time is long overdue for us parents to stop waiting for someone else to educate our children. Whether our children attend public, private, Christian, or home school, the responsibility of educating them lies squarely on our shoulders.  It is not the schools' responsibility; it is not the churches' responsibility. We cannot abdicate (to give up power, or responsibility )this God-given responsibility to someone else. We can partner with others, but we are ultimately accountable before God.
     In America today, the deck is stacked against parents who want to raise their children to be followers of Jesus. We live in a secular culture that has largely abandoned God for the pursuit of pleasure, money, and self-gratification. Consequently, every area of life- whether work, family, sexuality, justice, commerce, education, or the media- has been redefined by an individualistic and materialistic worldview. Truth is seen as whatever one wants it to be as long as it brings some measure of happiness...  How do we turn the tide? How do we instill in our children a biblical worldview that remains unshakable?  First, we parents must take back control of our children's education. Whatever kind of schooling we choose for our children, we must remember that we are responsible for what they learn. We must become their primary tutor and teacher of the values and views of the Kingdom of God.  There must be a renaissance (revival) of education in America, and it will begin with every parent who prays that their children will one day love God and serve Him. This is not a matter of parents' ability, but of their will.
     Second we must change our life style. We will have to say no to certain things in order to say yes to God's best for the development of our children's minds. What needs to change will be different for everyone. But do not be misled; it involves a significant change of lifestyle. We cannot read, discuss, tutor, explore, and share the experiences necessary to impart a life in Christ to our children without time- and lots of it. It cannot be something we cram in at our most fatigued moments of the day or week. Creating a Kingdom path for our children in this postmodern cultural jungle takes time, alertness, hard work, and some sharp tools.
     Finally, as Christian parents, let's stop whining and complaining about our culture and the schools around us.  Let's step up to the plate and educate our children. As my good friend Rev. E. We MUST begin thinking Theocracy! Republic Under God is similar, but Theocracy defines the pure doctrine of Jesus Christ's Kingdom of Heaven. He rules in the hearts of men. Amen? Amen! I do not ordinarily speak of divorce; however, to make the point crystal clear, I say that democracy must be divorced (or expelled), and that we must all marry (embrace) Theocracy- the pure doctrines of Jesus Christ! The Word of God IS all sufficient. There is a saying that if the Lord isn't Lord of all, He isn't Lord at all. Author Joseph Farah in his new book entitled Taking Back America, features the issue: Why you can't trust Government. Also, how "Good citizenship in America, first and foremost, requires us to end the income tax and close down the IRS (Internal Revenue service) {Page 89}. Lastly, the issue of the U.N. is discussed: "The U.N. is not just, as many Americans suspect, a group of incompetent busybodies.  It is instead a global criminal enterprise." Page 161 The Catholic World Report:  CWR reports from the front lines of the culture wars. For example: the battle over same-sex marriage. The Court-sponsored hostility toward religion, especially Christianity. The pro-abortion industry and its accomplices in the media. Persecution of the Catholic Church in China.  Hollywood's campaign against Christianity and traditional values, and how Christians are fighting back.  The assault on traditional culture and religion on college campuses throughout the United States- even some supposedly Catholic ones. Pope Benedict XVI is quoted saying "no law made by man can subvert the law made by the Creator without damaging society in its very foundations."  (On the issue of civil unions.)  THE WEEK, February 23, 2007, page 15 Nelson Coblentz, Gospel Express Ministries: "Signs of the times are everywhere, and I do believe our redemption is drawing nigh. Our nation is in serious moral decay. Prayer is forbidden in most schools and government assemblies. Homosexual lifestyle and same sex marriages are widely accepted, while Christian principles are being attacked daily. Paul admonished us to “shine as lights in the worlc in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation.” Jesus said, “I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day; the night cometh, when no man can work.” May God stir in us urgency for kingdom work before the night cometh, along with a holy hatred for the darkness of this world, coupled with an agape love for His people everywhere! Ephesians 2:10 says we are created by God for good works therefore we should “Do all the good we can in all the ways we can, for all the people we can, while we can.”   "The ACLU and its allies have launched an all out war on Christianity! They're targeting Ten Commandment monuments, war memorials and roadside crosses for fallen officers. The ACLU has a war chest of more than $175 million dollars and an army of 2,000 volunteer lawyers; and it attempts to intimidate public officials into surrendering all references to America's heritage of Christian faith." -Letter 8-28-2006; -Alliance Defending Freedom Howard Phillips, three time Presidential candidate, has been fighting for liberty for 28 years. This is absurd (contrary to all reason or common sense) to have to do in an already free country.  But in love and for good reason, he is restoring the Republic by limiting the Federal Government to its delegated, enumerated Constitutional functions and returning American Jurisprudence to its Biblical Common Law Foundations! Pat Robinson, long time evangelist, has decided that our Supreme Court has got to go, and he wants us to call on the Lord to drive them out of their overstuffed leather chairs. -Rutland Herald, July 20, 2003 Dr. Jack Van Impe with satellite ministries around the globe has rebuked President Bush's "road map to peace" as it can become a threat to the lives of all Americans. At the world social Forum in Brazil, the Indian writer Arundhati Roy spoke on "How to confront Empire?" "Does 'Empire' mean the U.S. Government (and its European satellites), the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, The World Trade Organization, and multinational corporations?  Or is it something more than that? In many countries, Empire has sprouted... some dangerous byproducts- nationalism, religious bigotry, fascism and, of course terrorism. All these march arm in arm with the project of corporate globalization. ... To win its fight to corner all our resources, corporate globalization needs governments that do what they're told, courts that 'pretend to dispense justice', and 'a press that pretends to be free.  ... Our strategy should be not only to confront empire, but to lay siege to it. To deprive it from oxygen. To shame it. To mock it..  with our art, our music, our literature, our stubbornness, our joy, our brilliance, our sheer relentlessness- and our ability to tell our own stories. Stories that are different from the ones we're being brainwashed to believe.  ...  The corporate revolution will collapse if we refuse to buy what they are selling- their ideas, their version of history, their wars, their weapons, their notion of inevitability. Remember this: they need us more than we need them .  ...  Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing."

Other perspectives and evidence of tyranny and Treason in the U.S.: "While the public is urged to trust in our government's decisions and told that questioning those decisions is unpatriotic, giant corporations seem to dictate where the presence of the U.S. Military is required, to whom rights to global water, seeds for crops, and oil reserves belong, and which global treaties the U.S. will sign."      www.stopcorporateabuse.org The Fully Informed Jury Association (www.fija.org) declares; "The people urgently need to resume control because our various governments, the federal government in particular, seem bent on achieving nearly complete top down control over all of us.  The favorite technique is to pass and enforce laws which create 'crimes against the state', where no victim (except the perpetrator) exists.  This means the government can make absolutely anything illegal, and begin prosecuting anyone it doesn't like for these 'political crimes'.  Those convicted fill our jails and cause a statistical 'crime wave', which the government then uses as a basis for passing and enforcing still more laws." The following excerpts are taken from an essay adapted from the new book Leviathan: The Growth of Local Government, written by author Clint Bolick. Leviathan by definition being a monster; immense power. "Local governments are multiplying like rabbits, at a rate of one new entity per day. They operate our schools our children attend, determine the uses of our property, and tax us at a higher rate than the national government. ...As tyrannical state leaders violate liberty in the name of 'states rights' we discover that those who coined that term had it wrong. States do not have rights.  People have rights. And the purpose of federalism is to protect those rights.  ... The odds are further stacked by the politicians' ability to use citizens' tax dollars against them... they [people] often encounter court systems that indulge every presumption in favor of local government". From Amnesty International (www.amnestyusa.org), we have the following insights- Bill Schulz, Exective Director, declares "Throughout its term the Bush Administration has set an example in its 'war on terrorism' and war in Iraq that gives both dictators and democracies alike the go-ahead to violate human rights and restrict civil liberties."  Chipp Pitts, Board of Directors, speaks forth with the following statement: "Amnesty today finds itself confronting a myriad of human rights issues that have risen or intensified as the 'war on terrorism' expands across the globe:  Indefinite detention without charge... torture and abuse of detainees...racial profiling... an ever growing body of legislation restricting civil liberties and human right... and the list goes on.  Sadly, the U.S. government had led this race to the bottom. The U.S. has exported the idea that human rights laws are meant to be broken.  And the U.S. has opened the door for the use of terrorist threats- real or imagined- to justify any excess and and provide cover for the oppression of dissidents, journalists, minorities, immigrants and refugees. What these political opportunists at home fail to realize is that he suppression of human rights only fans the flames of terrorism. None of these measures make us any safer....security and liberty are not opposing values. That they are, rather, two sides of the same coin." Phyllis Schlafly, in her book entitled The Supremacists- The Tyranny Of Judges And How To Stop It, ISBN 1-890626-55-4 enlightens us how through Courts, Communism is advanced by judges ruling in its favor [page105], and, therefore, assaults American Internal Security.  In endorsement of her book, Edwin Meese III, former U.S. Attorney General, has this commendation: "Phyllis Schlafy has written a vital book which exposes the threat of judicial misconduct to our form of representative government and to the liberty of our people. Her comprehensive analysis of the evidence and her recommendations for correction are must-reading for citizens concerned about preserving our constitutional republic and our freedom." Meic Pearse, in his book entitled Why The Rest Hates The West ISBN 0-8308-3202-5 he makes clear how Western powers are nothing more than barbarian (uncivilized; primitive) juggernauts (any large, overpowering, destructive force or object). "Why do they hate us so much?" - Many in the United States are baffled at the hatred and anti-Western sentiment they see on the international news. Historian Meic Pearse unpacks the deep divides between the West and the rest of the world. He shows how many of the underlying assumptions of Western civilization directly oppose and contradict the cultural and religious values of significant people groups. Those in the Third World, Pearse says, "have the sensation that everything they hold dear and sacred is being rolled over by an economic and cultural juggernaut that doesn't even know it's doing it... and wouldn't understand why what it's destroying is important or of value." Daniel Myerson, author of Blood and Splendor, gives understanding of psychopaths of power. He "explores the demons that drove them (Nero, Ivan the Terrible, Hitler, Stalin and Saddam Hussein) to such violent extremes and reveals how the extravagance of their lives and the complexity of their obsessions were played out through their political actions with global consequences." Blood and Splendor exposes the madness, cunning, even genius that propels these men to power. Edmund C. Gruss, author of Cults and The Occult ISBN 0-87552-001-4, gives critical knowledge for all persons. "Those who expose doctrinal error are often branded as being negative and as not displaying Christian love. But an examination of the New Testament and the statements of Jesus Christ  reveals that the negative is often rightly expressed.  ...  As Swindoll notes, counterfeits do not advertise what they are really doing, and people by the millions are  deceived. 'Deception comes in convincing fashion, wearing the garb of authenticity, supported by the credentials of intelligence, popularity, and even a touch of class.'  ... How does one account for the existence of cults?  Why do they thrive?  It must be recognized that there are two spiritual forces (powers) in the universe, which oppose each other. They are led by God, on the one side, and the opposer of Heaven, Satan, on the other.  Satan's goal is to blind people to the gospel of [Jesus] Christ, to deceive the world, and to receive worship for himself (Matt. 4:9; 2 Cor.4;4; Rev. 12:9). One of Satan's most effective tools is the propagation of false doctrine. Second Corinthians 11:13-15 warns that Satan disguises himself as 'angel of light' and his human representatives as 'apostles of Christ' and 'ministers of righteousness." David Stevenson, author of Cataclysm (any violent upheaval), deals with First World War as a political tragedy.  "Trapped by their own rhetoric" Stevenson insists the stalemate that appeared early in the war was accompanied by a "dynamic of escalation".  No country could quite fighting and accept a negotiated end to the war with its "implication that the dead had died in vain." Instead of pulling out and accepting losses, all sides increased their level of participation and attempted to end the stalemate by adding more resources and conducting more military operations.  Stevenson explains, "Governments in all the belligerents (engaged in warfare; aggressively hostile) were under intense domestic pressure not to terminate the conflict without achieving their declared objectives.  To an extent they were trapped by their own rhetoric (the art of effectively using language in speech or writing; the use of exaggerated language; bombast)".       Reviewer of Cataclysm-  Colonel Robert A. Doughty, Professor and Head of the Department of History at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, offers the following: "For many readers the First World War may seem a senseless, disastrous conflict that had neither purpose nor justification and that remained outside the control of political and military leaders. In his new book, Stevenson sees it as a "cataclysm of a special kind, a manmade catastrophe produced by political acts..." He also believes "the killing was begun and prolonged through deliberate political will." The "victims" of the war "owed their fate to deliberate state policy, decided on by governments that repeatedly rejected alternatives to violence..." Thus, the war was shaped by politicians who aimed at specific political goals and accepted the high casualties and cost associated with accomplishing these goals.  It is written: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."  -Galatians 5:22

It is written: "We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.  None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  However, as it is written: 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him'- but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.  For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.  We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment: 'For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?' But we have the mind of Christ. -1 Corinthians 2:6-16
